A traditional South American crop, chia seed (Latin name Salvia hispanica L.) has been used for thousands of years. In fact, archeological evidence indicates that humans have been using chia as early as 3500 BCE!
Making a comeback in healthy diets, these super seeds are an excellent source of essential minerals such as phosphorous, manganese, calcium, sodium and potassium. In fact, to provide a comparison, 3 tbsp. of chia has:

We do our best to minimize the use of plastic packaging. Your order is delivered in a recycled box and your items are either wrapped in banana leaves or paper. Unfortunately, sensitive items, such as meats and seafood, require the use of plastic for sanitation purposes.
Help us reduce unnecessary waste by reusing our packaging and containers. If you would like to return your plastic containers, turn them over to Dispatch on your next delivery, and we'll make sure they will be put to good use.
You also have the option of upgrading your packaging to silicone or glass containers for your order of Dried Fruits and Nuts, and sensitive products such as our Meat Your Marinade line.
If any item is found to be questionable in quality upon delivery, please fill up our Delivery Feedback Form so that we can attend to the issue immediately.

- Fill up our Delivery Feedback Form within two (2) days from delivery date.
- Submit clear photos of the product in question
- Indicate order number, delivery date and the issue in detail
We will be happy to provide a replacement pending an investigation.
